Marjorie Dodson is a senior at Wesleyan University double majoring in Environmental Studies and East Asian Studies, with a political economy concentration. She has spent much of her career at Wesleyan focusing on environmental issues on campus, as well as nationally and globally. For the past two summers, she interned with environmental grass-roots organizations in China. Last summer her internship included conducting interviews and research for her senior thesis. Her thesis is on sustainable tourism development in ethnic minority villages in southwest China, with a focus on environmental justice implications.
